A YouTuber brags about buying a $39,000 house on Amazon — but he didn’t read the fine print

This new homeowner is moving forward despite the lack of power.

Nathan Graham of the “Uspeakable” YouTube channel bought the ready-made home from Amazon for $38,999.

Graham, 26, wanted to see if the online retailer could provide a house and all the furnishings that come with a house, and when the house arrived, it came in an Amazon box and had to be unpacked.

The house was complete with windows and a bathroom, though he noted that there were no instructions.

But when Graham tried to hook up a mini-refrigerator to the house, he realized that the Cherry Industrial 19-by-20-foot Prefab Expandable Home didn’t have the outlets to do so.

“I’m trying to find a place to put the refrigerator, but there are no electrical outlets,” he said in the unboxing video, which has garnered 7.9 million views.

“Didn’t you order the power pack?” one of his friends scoffed in response.

The YouTuber quickly realized he didn’t read the full product description, which reads, “Reminder: The Prefab Mobile Home is not wired. Please hire an electrician for US standard wiring. Stay safe!”

Fortunately for Graham, he planned ahead and purchased a generator to power some of his important items, such as his refrigerator and an 80-inch television.

Graham also bought a bunk bed, sofa, tables, a vacuum, games, kitchen equipment and food.

In addition to electrical outlets or sources, Amazon notes that the property does not come with appliances, furniture, a source of running water, and connections to drainage and sewer pipes. The buyer must supply these things himself.

However, the house comes with a bathroom, shower and built-in kitchen cabinets.

At first glance, when it comes out of the box, the house looks thin and compact, but after Graham and his friends unfolded it, the house had four walls, windows and a roof.

Graham and his crew realized that you can actually order almost anything on Amazon, but it’s important to read the fine print to find out what does and doesn’t come.
